Should I wait until Tinley Park?

I am thinking about getting another ball python. I have the room in my rack for 2 more. I have seen some really nice looking bps online for some reasonable prices. Should I wait until Tinley Park? Or go ahead and pull the trigger. I will probably go to the Taylor, MI show in a couple weeks.

    Main Point:
Will the quality and prices of animals at Tinley Park be worth the wait? (along with the 3.5 hours each way of driving)

Re: Should I wait until Tinley Park?

I guarantee you it'll be worth the drive, regardless of whether you want to shop for animals while there or not!

As for whether or not you should wait.... Depends on what you want to do, I guess. If you're just "filling empty spaces" in the rack...I'd wait until you find THE snake that really catches your eye and your passion....regardless of whether you find it online or at a different show.

If Daytona is any indication, there will most certainly be some very special animals at Tinley. But whether or not you find "the" animal before then is entirely up to you.

Re: Should I wait until Tinley Park?

i am sure that i see something that i REALLY like between now and Tinley Park, but will I get a better price at TP? I am looking into a pastel, cinnie, or fire. Most of these you can find for reasonable prices online. I am not trying to be cheap but right now the only cinnies that I have liked were in the $500 range. Am I likely to see a really good looking cinnie for $350? Will I see similar deals for pastels and fires?
