OMG I'm getting the itch again

gods spare me, I'm getting the 'gotta get another snake' itch again. I swore my last would be my last, and for awhile that was just dandy!
but now I'm spending long hours looking at pics and caresheets of different snakes.
I'm looking at pros and cons, and enclosure sizes.

    please let this pass!

Well hey, if you have the room and you have the cash.. What are you thinking about/trying not to think about getting?

I think it's the "cash" part of the equation that is always the catch for me.

Oh and you came to us for help?????

We're the worst enablers in the world honey. That's like going to the local bar and asking them to talk you out of having a beer.

    so true

I'm looking at milks, beauties, rhinos, tree boas/pythons
    mostly milks though...hondos and pueblans
although a nice new ball would be cool....although I'm not sure how Augie would take it

Oh well since you mentioned milks, you need to check out the Albino Nelson's Milksnake (or just check out my threads on my daughter's one named Emi). Now that is one seriously cute little snake and Nelson's are known for their especially nice temperment and ease of handling and care.

(how's that for enabling? don't make me post pics of Emi here to further taunt you! )

Re: OMG I'm getting the itch again

OMG Jo! I was just gonna suggest the same! Only my Albino Nelson's is named Petunia. I'l never forget the day I got her. I asked the man at the show if I could look at her, and she seemed very calm and collected. I was 90% sure this is the one I wanted (he had several others). Then, a random weird looking guy at the show came up and stood next to me(close) and he says, "You thinkina 'bout buyin' that one?" She then quickly snapped out and bit him! It was hilarious! I apologized to the guy, who then shrugged and walked away. I then said to the vendor, "yep, this is THE one."
