Hehehe....yeah....if you see my thread with the storm pictures...this slingshot ride took place right after I took those pictures! It was lightning and thundering and I was really surprised they let that thing go!

Sorry I missed it - would have loved to have seen that!
LIGHTNING!!!! LIGHT-FREAKING-NING!!!!! *feels the grey hairs springing out all over her head*
"That's okay dear, you just go bouncing around in the SKY inside that METAL ball with the LIGHTNING all around you. Don't worry about your poor mother. I'm quite fine, really I am. I'll just huddle over here under a tree and pray for you and that strange french woman. Won't do my back any good but it's never been right since I carried you (this is where we insert the dissertation about how long you took to be born and how you ruined my poor body but do I mind....)."
*works up a quite credible trembling lip and a brave sniffle whilst bravely standing under a tree hoping to redirect said lightning from her online kid....but do I mind.....*

Shhhh Robin, it's a time honored mother trick. There's just nothing like a fried mother to make em feel a bit of guilt!
Gawd I'm overtired and goofy tonight! Hurry up Reptile Radio before Judy smacks me for taking her lovely thread so off kilter.

LOL! I have to give props to both of them. There was not a shriek to be heard as that flimsy little ball rocketed up into the lightning filled stratosphere!

I think it would be hard to scream when you can barely breath. No I didn't go on it, I like to keep my lunch in my belly until I am completely done with it LOL.
Great pics Judy
