mine are burned in the front and sides. I did start off with them all the way around but i was losing to much heat. Now they are mostly in front and a few down the sides to get rid of the humidity.
0.3 Normal, 1.1 100% Het Albino, 1.1 Yellowbelly, 1.1 Mojave
1.0 50% Het Axanthic, 1.1 Hypo, 1.0 66% Het Clown, 0.1 Black Pastel
0.1 Spider, 1.1 VPI Pastel, 1.0 Reduced Pattern, 1.0 Pinstripe
I just have a line of them across the face of the tubs...I think 5 or 6 holes maybe. They are the 15 qt size though. That seems to work for those tubs in our snakeroom.
Oh and Mike, totally off topic but....we fed Tequila today and I tried to get you some feeding pics as promised. Every darn one of them turned out fuzzy or out of focus or blurred. I think being that near a feeding 8.5 foot snake may have made my not so great camera skills even worse LOL. Not that Tequila cared but it's an "interesting" experience for me (Mike was right there of course - just in case).
I'll try again next feeding to get you some good pics.
I have them in the front only. I used to have a lot of condensation on the fronts but since I put a dehumidifier in the snake room, all is fine! Some people like to put holes on the sides and back as well for more air exchange.
