Bloods (and Short Tailed Pythons in general) tend to have a little bit of a temperament when they're not situated. However once they're situated they're sweeties . Some of my herp friends call me the "Blood Guy" cause out of them I'm the only one brave enough to take on a P'd off blood .

But Bloods are rewarding animals, in my opinion more rewarding than Ball Pythons. With a ball python after about a month you have a good idea what they're going to look at their whole life, the exceptions tend to be morphs. However Blood Python's patterns change every shed! My little girl is in shed now and I can't wait to see how her pattern changes.

Oh yeah: When a blood bites you, you know it! They have considerably more teeth than a ball
