That would anger me too.
I would talk back though.. it's just my nature. Hopefully you have some friends in the store that would support you if someone asked to kick you out. Your not harming them, they're not allergic, and they really have no reason to fear them if they are harmless and aren't close to them.

I doubt that snake could kill your family one night.. AHaha.
