    Naw, they're definitely the wood mites, looked at a few pictures of aphids, but they don't look like that.

    Wood mites would be my guess as well. They are harmless but I'd still get rid of them, just because bugs in any collection doesn't look good.

    Same deal. Not harmful. I've gotten both in various bags of cypress mulch (home depot), Aspen and Reptibark in the past.
