I'd get them for breeding purposes to expand the pure blooded captive population if anything (especially considering wild populations may be gone). They're Bci so basic boa caresheets work with some tweaking. They may prove to be more arboreal than say your typical Colombian and also may like cooler temps.
I agree, with them so few and far between, I urge anyone to get a pair. Just to ensure that the captive numbers stay up.
