Nope, it was gross here in Waco today. Whatchoo talkin' 'bout blue?? I do love this flooding season though

And hotlinking a picture from someone else's site steals their bandwidth. Not polite. Save it to your computer, THEN post it with credits.

And Kevin, I like your snakes better. Little more of that "filled out" look to 'em..

Gah, same here...but I am not complaining I would rather be in 2-a-days rainy and cold than hot and humid ANY day!

What can I say Becky I just like'em with a little meat on their bones...LOL. Speaking of gray skies, an unwelcomed guest named Fay hasn't taken the hint yet that it is time to move along now!

I'm gonna go on a limb here and point something out for you folks wondering why in the world Kevin jumped into the thread like he did....

This is NOT the only forum out there, and just about everyone has a history whether that be good or bad.

If anyone decides to point out something they thinks is important, more than likely there is a HISTORY behind it.

Kevin from what I've seen isn't the type of guy to get hot and bothered over just a posting of a pic, but rather the character posting the pic because of something important that has transpired in the past.

So you’re stating that the OP has a history? And that Kevin was correct to jump all over him? It looked to me that someone made an honest mistake, and once realized apologized, and stated that he would not do it again.

For someone new to the site, this whole ordeal would look unwelcoming. I for one do not agree with jumping all over someone for an honest mistake, and name calling. It’s just wrong. IMO.

This is not what I like to see when I come to this forum. This is also another reason that many people that come to this, and other forums, feel unwelcomed and do not return.

LAWReptiles, for what it's worth, I'm sorry for the way your were treated.
I would sincerely hope that any person joining any forum looks at more than one bump in the road in a thread or two. As staff we cannot possibly make members get along. We can however insist they be polite, professional and adult in how they handle situations that arise here. I think my fellow staffers did a great job in bringing this thread back to a sensible tone quite quickly.

Connie, because that history may not be known or apparent to the vast majority of the membership all this sort of thing does is look like drama. Kevin may well have an opinion or be aware of something the majority here are not aware and if he feels strongly enough there are ways to deal with that. Jumping in and using the excuse of another member posting a picture without the proper nod to the producer of the snake isn't one of them.

Personally I could care less whose name is on what post so this is not a bash Kevin/support LAW response. I hope it will not be taken as such. It's simply a comment that on some forums this disruption of threads is allowed to go on, here at BPNet it is not. If that makes us seem tough or picky about how people post things or too family friendly or whatever, so be it....as they say...."that's how we roll".

Everyone has a history, whether it's good or bad.

I was merely pointing out that instead of thinking the only reason anyone jumps into threads like this is because of a simple mistake, that generally it's a good idea to take a step back and get privy to what the poster may be saying (as in kevins case, the back bone comment).

My point has been, while name calling is out of line and adds fuel to the fire and drama, the comment itself from Kevin is a good clue that perhaps there is some form of history out there to explain his comment.

If anyone wants to think threads like this are over simple mistake, that's fine, but all I have been saying is that the posts in this thread leave me to believe that there is more than meets the eye.

Do I have any personal knowledge of the OP? No, but there has been a link provided already that I assume explains the reactions. (I have not read it, nor do I really plan to)

    Re: I LOVE this...

Calling LAW a tool was a poor desicion on my part and I accept that and see how it may upset the sensibilities of other members. I am more than happy with the family atmosphere of BP.net infact I think that is one of the things that draws people here. I myself am married with two wonderful daughters and despite being surrounded by so much estrogen I am still a DUDE and I am still prone to drag my knuckles on the ground every once in a while. I do have a problem with people stealing others creative work, I do have a problem with people selling unhealthy ball pythons, and lastly I do have a problem with people that seem to have quick and easy excuses because it makes me wonder why they are so good at it. This isn't a me against him issue, this was just me trying to lookout for fellow members by way of my many years of experience. For those that I have offended I am sorry you feel that way, but my only regret of the thread was calling LAW a tool, the rest I stand by 100%.

Back to the topic's ORIGINAL purpose:

Yeah that Pinstripe Axan that BHB produced is pretty awesome.
