Re: Spider x VPI Axanthic Eggs!

I may be very, very wrong about this, but aren't there only something like 8 Spider X Axanthic ball pythons in the world?

I remember reading something along those lines a while back. Maybe the info was outdated. Either way, they're beautiful animals. I'm not a big follower of the spiders, but one that's black and white is quite impressive.

And of course, any healthy eggs/ babies - regardless of color, size, etc. - well, that's always a blessing in itself.

Well, then best of luck to you. The world needs more of them. And if you've got kids, they need to go to college. Cha-ching $$$

    -lol- Just teasing.

Thanks! Axanthic is Recessive, so I won't produce a Spider Axanthic in this breeding.

I do hope to produce a few Spiders 100% het Axanthic though.

correct me if i am wrong but...

If you take one of the spider 100% het axanthics and breed it to an axanthic, you'll get your axanthic spider right? Or did I just confuse myself... LOLOL

    You're right!

Both parents have to carry the Axanthic gene for it to be reproduced.

The clutch of Spider 100% het Axanthics are hatching...

There are 3 Spiders in the clutch!

The 2 eggs from the Caramel made it and are also hatching, but no Pins...Guess my luck had to run out sometime...lol

    Hope they're both females!

I ended up with 2.1 Spiders 100% het VPI Axanthic!

These are going to make some killer crosses!
