I was planning on picking myself up something nice. But my pump went out, and I still haven't sold the babies I have up, so I doubt I'll have funds to get anything.

I'm looking to get a VPI axanthic male, pin female, and some normal females. Maybe a cinny female too. I always save about $100-$200 for supplies......tubs,books,rodent food,etc.

Well, seeing as I still owe someone near and dear to me money on a couple of snakes on payment plan, I'm not buying any additional snakes while there - to me, that's just disrespectful.

BUT, I am picking up some snakes while I'm there from a breeding loan and also a couple that have been paid off and at the breeder's since January! LOL

So, although I'm not spending money in Daytona on snakes, I'm coming home with at least 5 new snakes. Not sure on 2 others.

As for what I'm doing this week? Working today and tomorrow, Wednesday I'm off and doing last minute preparations for leaving (cleaning every critter's enclosures) and then Karl will get off work early (that's like 8 pm) on Wednesday, and we plan to hit the road some time between midnight and 4 a.m. to drive down to Daytona.

If I go ( I should, but im still waiting on money that should have been here last week) i'll have school to keep me busy. BUT... I have Saturday off so that will be nice, havn't had a day off in what seems like forever. Sunday morning ( around 1 am) we are going to head down to daytona! While im there i'll just take alot of pictures and meet alot of people. The only things I know im buying is more water bowls, hides, and maybe a het something pair.

There is no way I could drive down, do the show and drive back all in a 24 hour period of time. You're going to be a zombie in school on Monday - unless you are taking off?

Energy drinks will be involved but yes, pretty much we will be leaving at 1 am and plan to get back at around 12 am Its all worth it though
