I picked up 3 normal girls from RegiusCo.ca... two were in the tenth pic, bottom shelf of the tower. You know... below all the morphs.

I also picked up an 08 het pied male.

I was tempted to get a 1.1 pair of MBKs, but maybe at the next show.

Great pics...we dont have any reptiles shows around these areas...so its nice when people post pics from shows...helps take the edge off.

I have been to a handful of shows tho and have never seen crabs for sale but I suppose there is a first for everything!

    Great stuff!

The crabs are giant land crabs - native to S. Florida, and pretty scary when you run into one in the middle of the night - just as your flashlight batteries go dead . . .

They're primarily vegetarian, but will scavenge as well. They dig pretty long tunnels to water, and there's a species of mosquito whose larvae live only there. To control them, as only nature can, there's a killifish found nowhere else as well, and because the tunnels only rarely overflow, the killies are parthenogenic - females give birth without benefit of males, though a dozen or so males have been found over the years.
