looking ahead to '09 (already) Your plans?

So.. with hatching and incubating coming to a close (here, anyway..) What are your breeding plans for this November/Fall? I am breeding my Spider to my female Pastel for Bees (I am psyched about this as she'll be ready to go in November!) I also plan on breeding my Spider male to my normal girls again because it was so exciting to produce spideys this year. I might sell off some spiders and go with a dominant male (mojo maybe..) to get in time to QT him and breed in November (I know, I have to skeedaddle if I want to do that..)
    You!?

We will be shooting to produce Spiders, Cinnys, Mojos, Pins, Pastels, Bees, Het Hypos, and Het Albinos (maybe Albinos if I can get a Het up to size). We will be really trying to get my Het Pied female up to size, have a Het Pied male waiting for her.

Re: looking ahead to '09 (already) Your plans?

We have 3 normal females that are old enough and large enough to breed.
1st will be to a genetic Dark Morph Co-dom Reduced male
2nd will be to a Cinny
3rd is looking like a graziani Pastel

We are hoping our Het VPI Axanthic makes weight and probably will as a late breeder. She will get paired with our Double het for VPI snow male.

Our blond pastel and Lemon Bee females will not be paired unless they make weight early in the season.

Our Albino is still up in the air as to if we will breed her late or not if she makes weight. If we do breed her she will be paired with our male Albino.

The rest of our females are either too young or don't have any chance of making weight this year.

Re: looking ahead to '09 (already) Your plans?

If I produce enough Albinos this year, I'll probably invest in a Lesser male to breed with my normal females. The goal is to have a colony of female Lessers, and in a couple years purchase the best looking Super Lesser BEL I can find.

Now, if suddenly a huge pile of cash falls out of the sky, it'll be 0.6 Het Lavender Albinos.

I'm super excited about this upcoming season I'll be breeding het pied to 2 poss het females, albino to het albino, pastel to spider, Yb to Yb, and lesser to 3 very different looking girls. I'm going to keep 2 lesser females, a pied, bumblebee and ivory if I'm lucky enough to produce them.
