Re: MorphWiki Project, could use help

Not very many people keep all kinds of different morphs, and this site is also bringing in new people to the hobby everyday. If someone with the time and energy wants to give you help that's fine, but I would also reach out to other forums. This site is just a small percentage of the people in the hobby.

Also, as always, you can refer to websites with an already large library of snakes and morphs to draw upon.

This is your project, you have to make it work.

    and I am

but I am only one man.

I draw on many sites and some have given me permissiong to even copy there data, this makes things extremely easy

as for designer morphs, new morphs, unproven etc. there is very little data on them

So aside from just being able to give the name, I am unable to fill in all the info.

If you guys feel like listing names that are not on there. and/or providing me a link to data on them, then I willdefinetly add them.

But I do not see myself being able to find a list every morph on my own.

Also, I am on other forums

Pretty much Shawn, the way you've been wording all your posts in this thread has given me the feeling like I'm not doing my part to help you finish your project, when I never signed up for it in the first place.

I'm all for asking for help, but I feel like it's begun to turn into almost complaining at us, (the genetically confused or non contributing.) Catch my drift? I'm sorry this has turned into a hassle for you, but it is your project.

As Tim Gunn would say, "Make it work."

Re: MorphWiki Project, could use help

I am not trying to complain simply stating

I only have so much time, So I starting with what I have now and working out from there

So if people ask if I am going to cover something I reply that only if I have time,

I am all for doing the work of creating the pages, but if people would like something else covered even just sending me a pmw itht he names ( and preferebly asome sort of reference site with info) and I will add them to the list.

I know most of the morphs but when it gets right down into the fancy morphs I am still lost

So all I ask is, If you want something else covered. pm me. at LEAST the names, this way I have a abse to start, anything on top of that is a bonus.

sorry If it sounded like complaining.
