As a result of this post I went to my local Ikea store and bought 7 of these bowls for 99 cents apiece. They had large ones and small ones. I bought 4 small ones and 3 big ones. Perhaps you would like these bowls, I use them in a rack for hides for up to 2000g ball pythons. and they are $1.50 cdn each. If there is an ikea where you live they will likely have them. The snakes squeeze under them and lift them off the ground a bit but they don't seem to notice they are not hiding so well. Snakes under 1600g don't even lift them up.
