    noodle needs help(again)

Hi sorry i keep posting to get help constantly, I have read up on Royals quite a bit, and have done everything i was told to do, however when i purchased Noodle, the shop keeper provided me with a heatmat, witch im SURE is the wrong temp as its 20watts, Befor he gave me that he told me i should be using a 12watt one?, anyway he gave me everything he thaught i should need,
Contrainer: it had fell to peices just a couple of days of having it.
    hidy holes
    water dish
    heat mat
    and Pinkies.

We have had no choice but to move Noodle into a 30inch viv!!!!
as we have nothing else smaller and need to somehow save up for a smaller one.

I've tried hard to keep the viv enclosed so that he doesnt feel unsafe/unhappy, there are a couple of open bits but not so much that he should feel scared (hopfully)

I hope i dont make people think that i dont know anything atall, I do, i just want to make sure that he's happy at home.

I know now that the shopkeeper oviously knows nothing in some what way, He charged us almost £250 for all the eqip!.

The concern i have now is....Noodle tends to spend most of the at the top of the viv...Could anyone have any idea what i've done wrong?

He wont be staying in that tank for long, just havnt got anything else for him at the moment.

thank you soo much for you're help, i do feel honestly quilty and oviusly should of read one hell of alot more befor i got him, i just thaught i knew what he needed

You can very easily, very quickly and very cheaply set up a plastic tub for Noodle that will suit her/his needs. Since you have a heat source (hopefully controlled by a tstat or rheostat) and all the other things, a tub should be a very small amount to spend.

If you haven't already viewed threads here on setting up a plastic tub and need some info/pictures to help you, please let us know. While tubs might not be pleasing to the eye for us humans, they do make efficient housing for this species and help a lot in keeping your temps and humidity in the correct ranges. Do note you need to secure all tub lids. The clip on lids or whatever will not keep a snake in so you need to add things like large binder clips, bungee cords, etc. so your snake cannot get loose.

The small plastic tubs are no money at all i mean the exo terra ones are only like £5 .... The largest one of them is great for a young BP.

hiya well it was feeding day for Noodles today and since he got moved into his new viv he seems ALOT more happier he ate straight away like he use too, and hides quite abit in his hidy hole and if he's not hiding, he just climbs on his branches like he does.

PS the lamp is on the outside of the viv
