    MorphWiki Project, could use help

I am trying to build a user genereted Wiki for Ball python Morphs,

There are SO many out there that I am having a hard time tracking down 5%

The link to the page is
    http://www.stonedevisser.com/morphwi...ategory:Morphs

I am trying to get images, info, gentics, histories etc on all the morphs out there.

Of course this will take a long time, but anyone who can Help, or has a new morph or old morph they specialize in and can add pages, Would be a great help to me!

    And the community.
Remember a Wiki is an OPEN information portal, you are able to easily edit any page on the site, and any other person is able to come in and add or change previous information.

If you wish to take a certain morph as your own, you are able to lock a page for yourself.

Please help, lets make this a huge archive. I have yet to find anything close to this!

    Shawn, thanks

That's a good idea. I think it will be useful once it's finished. I started a list of base morphs here. Feel free to borrow from it if that would help.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?

Added a number of morphs and a few basic descriptions, but will be a long while,

I think i broke the thumb nail feature of the site so i need to fix that.

Re: MorphWiki Project, could use help

I dont think that it's such a good idea to have them in alphabetic order becuse if you hav the Clown Pastel under "C" that means that someone that's looking for pastel Clown under "P" isn't going to find it that easy. It's okey now but down the road when you added 100 + morphs - it's not going to that easy to find what you seek.

I think that it would be better so have some form of tagging database with base morphs only. And when you click one of those you'll see all the combos. so when you click Clown you'll see pastel clown, banana clown. And when you click pastel you will se clown there aswell.

Re: MorphWiki Project, could use help

thats possible but a lot of work

I can also put it under both names and have one link to the other.

If you feel like doing all the work to catagorize like you say, go for it. but untill I have a complete archive, this won't even be a thought for me.

    UPDATE

I have done a fair few, added a number of names, and I am trying to stick to 5 images per Morph

    Mikkla
    As for your comment,
I am creating multiple pages when i see fit

    For Example
    I have "Albino - Spider"
and then I crated "Spider - Albino"
One of which will redirect to the other.

This should help cut down on the issue you mentioned.

I also am looking for some help

I need people to do write ups on Genetics, the different types Etc.
Please PM me if you feel like writing a page, OR have already done so and will allow me to copy your work!

    Thank You

Re: MorphWiki Project, could use help

Im currently doung the same thing on Reptilicious.....Heres a link

I did think about doing it as a wiki style but found it was a bit limiting....one bit of advice....start with the base morphs and once they are donr do the designer morphs....that way you can link to each ingredient of a designer morph....
