At what size are most BPs ready for a 2nd adult mice?

Starting back in June when my boy was about 80 grams in size, he's been eating a FT adult mouse about 25 grams in size every 5 days like clockwork. Two months later and he's about 180 grams on empty. Never had a regurge or refusal, not even during his two sheds.

My question is, when should I start trying two adult mice and dropping the frequency to 7 days instead of 5? I have 50 frozen mice ranging from 25g to 30g in my freezer, so I'd like to use all of these before buying a larger prey size.

Well, frequency is normally pushed back to 7 days once they reach 100g, and yours is past that point. So you could start now.

As for when to give multiple mice: whenever the snake eats the one you give him and then actively looks around for more rather than heading for his hide to digest.
As far as I know (and I could be wrong) there really isn't a set size to give more prey items. You just have to watch and know your snake's signals that he's still hungry.

I have seen it recommended that when you are feeding multiples, since you can't really use the girth of the snake to gauge the size of the meal, go by weight instead. For a growing snake, feed about 10-15% of its body weight.

I started doing this with mine and it seems to be working out well.

Right now, feeding one of your mice falls in that range for your snake.

However, as Adriana (Argentra) said, you also need to go by the signals your snake is giving you. Does he continue to act hungry after being fed? Or does he go to his hide to digest pretty quickly? Does he start acting hungry again only a few days after eating, or does it take close to the full 5 days?

all depends on the size of the mouse.if i see a noticable bulge i will not feed another.
