I made the mistake...

Yesterday I went out and bought 6 Mice, 3 for Mowgli (Male) and 3 for Kaa (Female). Anyways...I didn't realize that Mowgli's eye caps were white because it was night time. So I am about to drop the mice after a hour of pre-centing and soon as I open his top he struck at his piece of driftwood a got caught on it for a second. I was concerned for him but didn't realize he was about to shed. So I fed him his 3 mice, no problems. So then I had to do some house cleaning and moved his tank outside where there was still some late evening light, and what do you know...HIS EYECAPS ARE WHITE AS MILK! All is well with Mowgli, I am going to leave him alone for a few days. I'm sure he'll shed during the weekend...

Not sure what you think your mistake was but I dont see anything you did wrong. It is OK to offer your snake food while in shed, they just wont always take it. Only thing I would have done differently is not moved his tank after eating... the movement could have caused him to regurge his meals. Other than that your fine.

Some snakes will eat just the same whether they are about to shed or not. I have one or two I don't offer prey to when about to shed based on previous experience, but most of mine eat just the same. BP's don't need to see to eat.
