So I was sent a page on here that says you can cover your tank in aluminum foil and duck tape . It says cut an opening in the tape and foil for air flow . Should this go on the cool side or the hot side ? Also should my lamp go on the cool side or the hot side or even in the middle ? Which is where it is now . thanks

The vent opening can go on either side, but typically is placed on the hot side.

oh yeah I reconnize your name ! The person sent me the whole post but I got confused as to which side things go . Lol thank you If you have any more tips on that please send them I plan on doing this tonight or tomorrow afternoon ( when my husband gets the duck tape lol )
