Feeding my big fatty bp girl
hey there,
so i was at my local herp store, and asked them what size and how often i could feed my 7 pound 47 inch bp girl. They said 1 medium to large rat every month. it seems okay and she does eat on that schedule and remains a good consistent weight and such. but i am wondering if any of you others have a different schedule on a comparable snake. I would like to keep her on a two week diet, but I dunno if that is too excessive. word.

I feed every snake I own a small rat every 7 days.

Re: Feeding my big fatty bp girl
I have an adult female of pretty much that size. She gets offered a rat of either a small or medium size every 7 days. If she wants to eat, she eats, if she doesn't, she doesn't....other than breeding/egg laying season...she pretty much does.
