    HELP!! i think shes shedding bad

    Ive had my bp for a month now and she has a light blue tint by her head, im really new to the whole snake keeping thing and any body give me advance on what to do please

    You'll need to give more details before anybody can really help you or even know if there is a problem.

    If you mean her eyes have turned blue, then she is in the shedding process but not yet to the point where her skin is coming off. Her eyes will clear up again before the skin comes off.

    Make sure the humidity in the enclosure is high enough.

    I did the soak last night . It worked very well and he seemed to like being rubbed with the warm cloth . he kept going back threw .


    I hope all works out for you though . SHe should be fine my snake made his first shed with out me even knowing . Did it wonderfully threw the night on his own .

    its just a blue tint on the top of her head

    She's is becoming opaque, before they shed there eyes get cloudy and they become much darker. Just make sure the humidity stays above 60% preferably 70-80%. If she doesn't shed in one complete piece don't worry just soak her and it should come off fine.

    If you are talking about a kind of iridescent blue on the scales, then she is probably not going into shed. My bp always has that blue shimmer, especially in natural sunlight. When she is in the shedding process, her eyes, and only her eyes, will be visibily blue/opaque.
