Finished Rack!

finished it today with heat & bigapple herp thermostat.VERY LOW DOLLAR RACK GOT AROUND $60 TOTAL IN IT!

just one thing is i have heard not so good things about those thermostats but if it works for you then that is great!

what have you heard? I was thinking about ordering one to use with a radiator heater

well, i have heard other people saying that they are have heard of people experiancing problems with them

the are on/off tstats so the temp is always fluctuating

also have heard from another person about it failing on them but i have also heard of a ranco just completely failing

thats why i switched from my on/off to the helix and love it, i feel more safe now with all this money i have put into my ball pythons

I, too, have not heard very good things about those t-stats in the form of them being even worse than the ZooMed ones. Also, if that's 11" FW keep an eye on temps, there have been issues with that width lately.

But sweet looking rack. I just finished mine and am cleaning up the tubs before dragging it into my room and setting it up this evening. I'll be sure to get pictures.

I would not use that Stat for my balls, but I have it set low for my corns at 88,seems to be fine so far.Ithink even if it failed the temps would not get that high with back heat.I have a helix for my Ball rack,needed a corn rack to free up space for more balls .
