Tub Size for Age and Weight?

I know this has been posted before but everyone answered in quarts. And then I go to google and try and change quarts to gallons and it says 41 quarts is 10 gallons. And I'm pretty sure that isn't correct. So can I get everyone that uses tubs to post which age and weight of snakes they keep in each size of tub in gallons.

Not real sure why you want it listed in gal's since the makers list them in qt sizes but here goes

0-600 grams stay in a 1.5gal = 6qt tub
600-1500 grams stay in an 8 gal = 32qt tub
1500- ... grams stay in a 10.25 gal = 41 qt tub

and so the conversion rate is out there 1QT = .25 Gal's

There are 4 quarts in a gallon, so 40 qts is 10 gallons. Tubs are short, so there is a lot more surface area in a 6" high 41 qt. tub than there is in a 10 gallon aquarium. I keep babies up to 400g in 6 qt tubs, 400g - 1,000g are in 12 qt tubs and 1,000g+ are in 28 qt tubs. Once my females start getting over 2,500g or so I'll be making a new rack for larger tubs. in gallons thats babies in 1.5 gal, yearlings in 3 gal and adults in 7 gallon tubs.

Here in Canada there listed in gallons not quarts. Thanks for the conversion, I just thought 10 gallon seemed a bit small for an adult BP.

Oh very cool.. Now understand that when we sa a 10 gal tub that equates to a 33" long x 16" wide x 6" high tub it more floor space. So when you buy your tubs remember height isn't as important as floor space.

Yea I guess tubs are alot different then a 10 gallon tank. Thank you all for clearing that up.
