Re: Which enclosure looks best for my BP?
Hi,
If he's eating every time it's offered then to be honest I wouldn't mess with it.
Is there a pressing reason you feel you should switch things around?

No not really. I'm just bored and like to tweak things.

Yes but your snake probably does not , changing thing around too much will only stress your BP and you want to avoid that.
The first tub is better, log hides such as the one in the second pic make poor hides, not providing enough security.

Log isn't a hide, but as a hard surface for shedding. I have a cardboard hide that fits her perfectly which isn't pictured. I also considered having no hide at all since it's such a small enclosure in such a dark room with no light, ever.

Yeah that thing does look cool but boy is it expensive for a toy like that.
I left my guy in the small tub overnight and he left me two suprises this morning. A full, perfect shed and 20grams of pee/poop. He just ate again a few moments ago, so I'm thinking the stress from the change wasn't a big deal. I'm thinking I might keep the small one for a few weeks at least and then go back up to the big one. It's just easier to clean and the top is easier to secure.
