    where do you put your mice?

    Where does everyone put their mice so they dont stink everything up? Just curious...Thanks.

    Umm, it doesn't matter WHERE you put them...they'll still smell. The key is cleaning their tubs often enough to keep the smell reduced.

    My rodent colony is in the dining room of my small apartment. The front door is nearby, so if we enter the apt. and smell mouse, it's time to clean.

    lol, looks like the few I got need to find somewhere to stay or make the snake some food...Im tryin 2 figure out the best place and I cant leave them outside bc too hot.

    I keep them in clean kritter keepers. 1-2 females per cage with 1 male that makes rounds through all of them. I keep them on compressed aspen pellets and sterilize all the cages every Saturday. They are in my snake room with an activated charcoal filter and an ozone generator that runs for 15 minutes every 2 hours.

    Haha.

    If they smell, your probably not cleaning them enough or don't have them on a proper substrate. Either way, if you don't like the smell, get some ASFs. :]
