    "Missed" a shed

I have an interesting problem. Chester, my ball python, went through the stages if shedding a week ago (pink belly, blue eyes, dull skin) and it all cleared up then...nothing. He never shed. He seems to feel fine( I'm typing this one-handed because he's gripping one arm tightly ) Still eating and trying to escape like normal. Humidity/temps are have not changed since previous sheds.

I tried the soak method in the sticky above and that didn't get the job done either.

I was going to leave it until he sheds again, but today he developed a white.....rim on the back of his left eye and it worries me that he really needs to shed.

    Help.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Oh I know, but it's been over a week. Shouldn't he have shed already?

Are you positive there is no shed in the tank (not to insult you) because my bp shed in such a tiny ball (he was about 400 grams) it was rolled up about the size of a dollar and stuck in the top of his flowerpot hide - otherwise just wait and it will come - its not like you can pry it off.

No I've been checking his tub thoroughly since his blue cleared and I haven't found it.

I have had them go 2 weeks+ after clearing up. Don't worry just enjoy him and he will shed on his own.
