Prejudiced Snake ??
OK, is it possible that my 2y/o normal is selective to the point of only eating one color of rat ?? I got a black one at the pet store( a different store BTW) and its mostly black. He would rather cuddle up with it, rather than eat it, apparently. so what im wondering is, will they deny food based on color, and should i go and get another rat, and try to re feed today ?

Re: Prejudiced Snake ??
It's not uncommon for balls to just skip a meal. It is also possible for them to be selective to a particular color prey. Some like different colors, some prefere mice over rats, I have some big girls, 2500-3000g, that are partial to weaned rats. They should be eating small to medium rats. I would try what has been working for me in the past.
