Tegu hatchlings last pictures!
Well, tomorrow I take the babys to the buyer.
I'll miss the little buggers.. and they are looking soooo fine!
Here's a pic.

Sorry the newspaper is dirty, bc I change it after feeding time. Once a day, little guys make loads of mess!

Yes, they are red x B&W hybrids.
All gone to the buyer.
I'm not sure I would say that tegus are hard to breed. But I have florida, so the outdoor pen with sunshine and fresh air might help. The males do tear the female up during breeding sometimes. I think the main thing is to have plenty of space and time for them. If you can't supply natural sunlight, then proper UV light and a proper basking spot, then it might be harder.
I'm glad everyone who saw the tegus at the show seemed to like them.
I miss the little buggers.
