Our most exciting hatchling (so far this season)!

Monica has been waiting on this for quite some time. If you asked me a week ago, I would have told you we had 2 of them, but somehow my candling skills have degraded (maybe because I don't candle every clutch every day like I used to). Howrver, even though we only got one, Monica is ecstatic, and I'm pretty excited to. We originally had 5 eggs from Mojave to Mojave, but we lost 1 egg somewhere around day 21. At least we got a shemale (not sure what it is yet, but I sure hope it has penes). Monica has been yelling at it for 3 days now, so I guess it got scared and decided to poke it's nose out. Maybe in a couple days we'll know if it can make babies sooner or later. Enjoy the pic.

p.s. We will definitely post updated pics once it's out. I know someone will ask. Also, Monica made me cut the hole bigger earlier this morning, hence the horrible cutting job. I don;t normall make cuts that big or messy.

    Congrats on the BEL!!!

They are always cool, and no matter what kind of "white snake", they still kick tail.

    Good for you!!!

I tried but it was too slimy. It kept slipping out of my hand.
