    snake out of hides? fast reply please

    i just changed the substrate in the tank, same substrate just changed it to more newer, i put everything back in the tank and he went back, but now im noticing that he isnt in his hides, he is sitting outside of his black one.
    he just shed yesterday also, i havent fed him for the past week so could it be that he is hungry? im going to feed him 2 mice tomorrow, but its getting me a bit worried, help please? thanks

    no, temps shouldnt be to high, although i have to get a new thermometer, but everything is the same as before, so i dont see what could be different.

    no poop in his hide, i just changed the substrate today.

    once you pull out a bp they tend to get more active wen you put them back.might just be enjoying the new bedding.i wouldnt worry

    how are you controlling the heat? do you have a UTH? those can get upwards of 120 degrees. you need to KNOW what your temps are. even if that's not the reason he's not using his hides, it's something you need to look into. hope this helps

    Buy a thermometer, and go to Lowe's and buy a lamp dimmer. Works just like a rheostat.
