    maine woman finds snake in washer

    RIDICULOUS!!! My girlfriend just sent me this link, which I was about to post when I saw this thread...

    Is everyone ignorant or what???

    That's where Jen Lewis, a wildlife rehabilitator who works at the Kennel Shop, identified it as a python. The snakes kill prey with their teeth but are not poisonous, she said.
    Gee, and I always thought that reticulated pythons were constrictors. I had no idea they killed with their teeth...

    Oh, and is anyone other than me curious whether an 8 foot retic would even FIT in the water pipes, let alone, squeeze out and into the barrel of the washer?

    The news does such a poor job of research. You would think they'd study or be prepared for the job but I guess not.
