Update on my Craig's List BP

My tiny little five year old BP CL pick-up is not so tiny anymore. She has caught up to, and passed, my eight month old normal in girth. She is eating everything in sight, including a piece of my right hand. I got some GREAT advice here, thanks everyone!

Turns out she just thought I was a big rat. She's all settled in now and a joy to handle. I know BP's do most of their growing in their first few years so I'm wondering if I could expect her to get any longer, or is a snake that has been starved for five years more likely gain in girth only?

thats great news Jenn! i was very shocked when i saw the size of that 'rescue'. please post pictures again so we can see the progress. i would be interested to see how much she can grow being over 5 years old and so tiny.

glad to hear the rescue is doing great. And that is a question I have wondered as well.

She will grow much faster and better than most babies.

She will grow more in girth than length though.
