    Constantine

Well this is him. I lost my camera and ended up buying a new one. The photos are crappy due to not wanting to really disturb him while he was eating his first meal with me. He is named after a $10,000 DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) for Home audio that we have.

Sorry it has taken so long to post the photos. I'm still trying to unpack and get my house looking nice.

    Enjoy

Yeah they are awesome! The photos don't do him justice. After his last shed his lemon yellows just popped! He is starting to look like the pastel I paid for.

Nice pictures. You spent $10K to convert digital to analog? I thought people were trying to do the opposite, and spending a lot less to do it. Are you professionally into video production?

No, we are Audiophiles. the better quality the music is the better. We have a show room in our house to promote my husbands business. He designs and builds Home audio, theater, and High Grade car audio systems, also competition grade car audio systems. 2 years in a row his designs have won the world finals in best in show, highest DBs, and best in show for SQ. (sound quality)

The Constantine+ is a hand made DAC and is the best on the market. We don't use MP3s or CDs we use a computer with the DAC and play FLAC files. there is no brick wall filter on FLAC like there is on CDs and MP3s. frankly MP3s are the worst in quality I dont know why we even use them!

Best way to put it with FLAC... studio quality sound.

    Re: Constantine

I see. I missed the audio and immediately thought video. I agree, FLAC is pretty tight. One day soon it will probably replace mp3, since you can get 4gb SD cards for like $20 now. Once a cheap card can hold thousands of FLAC audio files, I don't think mp3 will stay very popular. Sorry. Ginavive, I know you said mp3 was the standard of the future a few months ago, but I disagree. Even high bit rate mp3 is crap, but who knows with today's music industry. Most new stuff sounds like spit, even on the masters, because producers are trying to make everything loud. All the subtle stuff gets lost and it all sounds like crap. I still don't understand why you want to go from digital to analog, but I'm not the pro. I thought the only reason to ever do that was to bypass copyright.
