    Breedable next season?

I have two females that only just started eating. Actually they have only had one meal with me. I'm going to try again tomorrow. So here is my question. How long do you wait after a female has gone off feed to consider her for breeding? One of the females is 1700g and ate last week. I was wanting to breed her next season. Would you think this is ok?

    Re: Breedable next season?

It all depends on the female an their body type. If she looks "solid" at 1700 grams and continues to eat, I don't see a problem with breeding her next season.

She is definitely not a puny snake. She is quite solid and very heavy. She's my largest snake and I'm so used to little 500g and under snakes. I should post a few pictures of her.

without further details i would say yes. Now if you told me she bred this year and has not regained her weight thats a different story.

She was not bred this season, but did go off feed for the breeding season. I'll try and get pictures up tomorrow.
