feedin and shedding?
is it cool to feed my bp while she is sheddin if shell take it?? shes a rly good eater

That depends. If she's less than 2-3 days before a shed I don't suggest it, it can just cause problems. If not, then its fine as long as your feeding her appropriate sized food that's almost smaller than what she would normally eat (so the skin doesn't stretch). :]
If anything, the safest thing to do is wait.

all of mine will eat while theyre shedding. ive never had any problems with them.
why do say not to feed while shedding? (im just curious, not trying to be a jerk)

I honestly don't see much of an issue with it really, but have been told by different people that it stretches the skin or something?
Honestly I don't know very much on the subject, just info that I've heard from others.
Like I said, could be wrong, don't count me on it.

fair enough.
ive heard both ways myself. i figured if one of my snakes is shedding ill go ahead and offer it an ASF(most of them eat them voraciously anyway) if they dont want it they wont eat it and it will go in the colony as food for another day.

What sort of problems, exactly? I offer food to every one of mine, every week, whether in shed or not - I've never experienced any problems, just an occassional refusal - but they all get the opportunity to feed if they choose to.

first how can i tell when she is going to shed? she just started to to fade about a 2 days ago and hers eyes started to get blue so when will she actually shed. im supposed to feed on wednesday will she shed by then and can i feed her right after the shed?
