Just have to share my excitement

I have kept ball pythons on and off for the better part of the last 15 years. I have had some that will eat anything at anytime and some that eat when they damm well please. Three weeks ago I decided to see what all the talk about ASF's were and picked up a couple. I also found a pet store that sells them until my breeders do there thing. I have to say the these are the best things EVER. Of the six snakes that I currently have, not one has refused an ASF. For three that is no big deal. The other three are a different story. One of my picky eaters have taken three meals in a row. I feed every 7 days and he has only eaten two weeks in a row twice in over a year and never three. As you can probably tell by now I just finished feeding and I am stoked. I hope ASF's continue to spread so every ball python owner has access to them. I never get tried of my snakes eating on feeding day. Thanks for listening.

    Awesomeness!!!
    Do you feed them live?
Just asking because I have 2 finicky snakes and one is readily accepting live mice right now while my other 15 happily munch on f/t!!

Sounds great. We have a couple of those picky feeders here too but once they got ASF's that's a thing of the past. They slam down their meal every week and are showing a nice weight gain from the more regular feeding routine.

Once your ASF's start breeding regularily you'll love it. They are so low maintenance, basically run their own enclosure and you just provide the food, water and maintenance while they happily pop out feeders for you.

We also use ASFs...waiting on some to breed right now, but even the picky as hell KSB will attack and eat them on a fairly regular basis.

Actually, please do not. We have zero tolerance for drug references - even when using as an analogy.
