Re: How do you feed your BPs?
Ive had my snake get bit twice feeding live so ive been trying to do prekilled lately inside his enclosure. I cant see why some people do outside their tank, id think it would increase stress( possibly leading to regurg if something were to go wrong) and unless you smell like a rat/mouse/asf your snake should not strike at you.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

I feed my bp in the cage but my corn outside the cage. I don't have tongs so when I feed my corn prekilled pinkies I dangle the pinkie with my fingers(NOT A GOOD IDEA). My bp eats live so I just drop the mouse in there with it.
I'm not afraid of snakes, because I got Balls!

Re: How do you feed your BPs?
I only have one snake and I feed him in my hamster's old tank (it still has his soaked bedding) and I leave him in there for a few seconds to get him kinda hungry by smelling the hamster and I feed him, then pick him up and movie him to his cage. It works perfectly and there has been no issues at ALL.

Re: How do you feed your BPs?
Both live in their tanks.....My bp will not eat f/t, i've tried multiple times, and its too much of a hassle. Besides I find it cheaper to have your own live breeding pairs. Where I live getting frozen is very hard to do, I have to drive 1 1/2 hours one way to get them! I live in a pretty rural area. My King snake gets live because my bp does. I think she gets mad at me if I give her f/t and him live. Their tanks are right next to each other. And she will watch him stalk and eat his live mouse.....and the last time I only had f/t for her she literally ignored it completely until a good hour after he finished his live mouse, and she realized she wasn't getting one herself. Then she ate the f/t because she's a piggy and wont actually refuse food....
She's weird like that, she always finishes her mouse a LOT faster than he finshes his.....and she will watch him finish his when her's is done. As if he may *not* eat it, and she get get through the glass and steal it. She doesn't watch him ever...unless its feeding time. Its interesting.

I still have a hamster so I just switch him between the two cages so he'll soak each one really good. xD I just hope my snake never gets out because I know he'd go right for the little hammie.

Re: How do you feed your BPs?
I went to feed mine today. I feed it in a seperate cardboard box like the ones you get from the petstore to take your pet home. I drop the live mouse inside and close the lid to keep the snake from being disturbed or making an escape route for the mouse. I barely got mouse inside and my snakes head flew out of the crack in the box trying to get the mouse still dangling from my hand. It was pretty funny.
