    First shed.... and other Pics!

Well.... I was much relieved to see Eddie's skin down around his neck early this AM (around 2) and this morning in one of the hides was his full shed all in one piece and a huge Poo. He seems to be out of his "funk" and is coming in and out of his hides this morning a LOT exploring around and watchin me at my desk here. ha

Here are a few pics yesterday prior to shed. Yep, he was actually being nice when I was cleaning his cage so I got him out for a little while. The shed was right at 2 feet but there is about an inch still on his tail. I figured I would do the soak and towel thing later with him. He is VERY active now and all OVER his domain.

    Nice snake.

What kind of AR15 variant is that? I kinda like the green color!

And don't you absolutely love those gun socks? I can fit all my rifles in my safe without stressing about checkering or scratching.

I've got a few nice target rifles and historic military-style rifles I've inherited (1946 1903A3, 1943 Mauser 8MM) but here in Kalifornia were not allowed to buy fun autos.

Jesus, if you posted a pic like that in England, you'd have the Police armed response unit round in minutes

LOL.... that's why I like it here in the US!

That's a pre-ban Busmaster with the old style carry handle. My duty weapon is a Rock River Arms M4 with all the trimmings. I'll take some more weapon / snake pics later I'm sure. The Green is Walter BirdSong's Green-T/Black-T coating. Absolutely the best coating out there, but hard to come by since he is a defense contractor. You can google him and see more.

Enough about guns.... (never thought I'd say that)
Feel free to PM me with more questions if you want though. I love weaponry!!!

Eddie has that little piece on his tail and I see a small patch on the side of his head, but..... the shed if full, there is no hole there in the shed. A bit odd????

Congratulations! I'm still waiting on my lil guy to have his first shed with me. I hope everything goes well.

Re: First shed.... and other Pics!

Okay.... I soaked his tail the other day and got that bit of leftover shed off of it. But he will NOT let me soak his head!! Honestly though.... he won't let me put a damp rag on his head, or anything ELSE for that matter. He still has a small place on his head that's buggin me. His shed had no 'holes' in it, but he does have a little patch on his head. Surely I'm not suppose to hold him and MAKE him let me soak it with a towel and get it off!?!?!? Should I just leave it alone?

Looks like he also retained his eyecaps... make sure to raise your humidity next time he turns blue.

Nope, those pics were before his shed. I'll have to get something else out for his "jungle gym" and take some more pics.
