Those personal misters are great also. Don't know if they would be advisable indoors though. I've used them many, many times out at the motocross track. With the dust blowing and a mist of water all over yourself makes for a great mud bath after a long day of riding.
What about those gel pack things that you put around your neck? You know, the ones that you soak, freeze and then use?

I live in phoenix AZ that 85 sounds pretty nice to me, ok heres what i do take a old shirt get it wet stick it in the freezer wait about 30 min take it out let it warm up a bit so you can put it on, and trust me you will get a chill like no other but after about 10 min of freezing you will feel nice and cool.

Re: Epic Ways to Stay Cool
My son rides motocross and during the summer (most of the year here in florida) I put a cold wet papertowel on top of his head, in his helmet and that keeps him cool through his round of practice or a race. He loves it and said it makes a huge difference.

Funny how grannies always know what to do isn't it.
When I was younger and we kids would get way overheated running in the hot summer weather, she'd have us stick our wrists, pulse side up under cold running water for a few minutes, then put a cold, dripping wet towel around our necks. She always said that chilling the blood at the wrists and the neck cooled you down fast and it does work.

If you're willing to spend a little, get a Frog Tog chilly towel or one of the gel "snake" bands that you tie around an area. A frog tog chilly towel is sort of rubbery feeling, but it holds cold water really well, especially if your briefly soak it in cold water. Simply running your head under cool water can help you cool down a lot. You can also get a little battery powered fan if you want or a little misting fan.
I've all of those methods when I go camping every summer in mid june.
