    Got him!!!

I stayed up until 2AM and never heard a peep but this morning I checked the mouse in the closet... it was gone... so i picked up the heating blanket next to the mouse and sure enough... there he was! He must have smelled the mouse, eaten it and crawled into the heating blanket to warm up.

I'm so happy. Mission successful and mom never found out.

You are sooo funny!!! I can't believe that your mom doesn't know you have a snake in your closet What are you going to do when the boa outgrows the tub he's in? Is there a way for you to come clean with your mom?

Haha. Well I'm a college student living away from home during the school year. I'm an engineering student and intern at an engineering company during the past two summers and have lived at home both times to save money. I've had corn snakes since I was a kid and when I left for college wanted to get bigger snakes.

I got the ball two and a half years ago and the parents know about him, and the RTB about a month ago. The ball is in an exxo terra cage, its a 2'x1.5'x1.5' and I need to upgrade it because the ball is just starting to tip over 800 grams.

The deal is if I got an animal plastics locking cage I could move them into the house as long as mom has the keys (so I dont pull them out without her knowing and spook her... its happened... not always an accident... )

Well I figured since I was getting her to let the one in... I might as well get the snake I've wanted for the past year. Once shes agreed to let one in, no big deal in a second right? Well I ordered the two animal plastics cages for them and in 2 weeks they will be fully set up.
