    breeding question

    hi
i read somewhere that you can interbreed species of boa constrictors. is this true? i think a red tail x argentine would look beautiful and would like to make some but i dont want to take the chance of them not being able to do it. what do you think?

    thanks

They can breed. BCO x BCI has been done many times. I'm not for it, but to each their own.

    Re: breeding question

why do you not think its a good idea? do you think its detrimental to the snake or just not a nice pairing?
(btw, ive seen the snakes you produce and they are beautiful)

I'm also not for it, read this to undestand why.

I'm sorry it took so long to get back to this. I just don't believe in crossing 2 snakes that would never reproduce in the wild AT ALL. It's not that I frown on people doing it though. It's just something I won't do.
