While doing a major cleaning today, my roommates and I noticed that what started as a little bit of mold had turned into a LOT of mold. I took some pictures of it so that we would have "evidence" to show the landlord. They have a habit of doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING when we present them with a problem.
Anyway, it's the toxic black mold. We're all really worried about this. It started when a water pipe broke a few months ago, and we're STILL dealing with it.

Notice the black following the baseboard?

Luckily, my room is on the opposite end of the house, and I only have mold behind the door. We're going to try to get this PERMANENTLY taken care of so that it doesn't spread. For now, we've got all the animals in my room. From left to right: 2 rats, 1 rabbit, 1 crocodile skink, 1 black milk snake, and 1 ball python.
And just because, here's my living room with the birds.
If anyone has any ideas on things to do to help with the mold problem, I'd love to hear 'em...![]()
