Well I finally got my male! There were 8 eggs from breeding a Pastel Het Red Axanthic male to a Pastel Female. The results were as follows;

1.0 Opal (Super Pastel) Het Red Axanthic
2.1 Super Pastels
2.0 Pastels Het Red Axanthic
0.1 Pastel
0.1 Normal

They are beautiful Corey.

Never was quite sure on your site if the Opals were supers or pastels. Now I know...

On another forum that I frequent, someone posted pics of pastel het reds that they hatched out... just seems that the het reds really diffuse the pastels. I expected to see a pastel with a black back, but they always seem to just be that much lighter.

Is that true?

And if you have time... have you found that the hets do that to any other morph?
