There is no absolute rule when it comes to breeder males. There are man different philosphies, theories, methods, limits you will get from any number of people at any different point in their breeding experiance. This is my first season breeding and it has been a great one so far -- I'm going right thru summer. I've tried EVERYTHING with my males this year. Bred a half-dozen 6-8 month old/450-600 gram boy to multiple females. Covered ten or more girls with 2 of my males. I wanted to know what was possible first hand -- knowing that I could make a mistake or two. As long as my males were eating I did not wurry about much else. Gave them 2-3 days of after they ate. A week-10 days when they shed. Let them do what they do. 6 girls should be no problem for a mature male in my opinion. Good luck and make sure you listen to everything everyone has to say!!! There are many ways to go about making baby snakes.![]()
