anyone know indicators of a fire bp?

As for the granite you saw for sale, unless you see some proof that its genetic than its just another normal. Chances are good that it will not produce granite offspring.

it was a granite. no doubt bout it. completely clear belly, light head, spot at base of neck, and granite spots. its a ma and pa exotic pet store. owners said someone came in and gave them the animals because they belonged to someone they knew who had died. pretty sad story. its only 69.99 so i think im gonna pick him up. hes prob close to 700 grams so ill just try to prove him out next season.

doesn't look like a fire, but is damn pretty. Buy him, breed him, and see if he has an interesting homozygous form. Doesn't matter if he's a fire - he might be something even cooler.

if you didnt buy him as a fire its probably not a fire... based on those head shots I say its not a fire... fires have distinctive marks on their heads... heres a pic of the fire I just purchased... its hard to see but theres a lighter spot on the head
