Re: Sandblast
This whole thing sounds like B.S
If there were any Sandblast for sale one of the big dealers would have it already. Ian G has brought in 99% of all the morphs from Africa including the sandblast, toffee, paragon, etc.
I talked to Ian recently and asked about anything cool in Africa looking to get in on something new, and he said there was not too much for really odd stuff. If there was a Sandblast it would be here by now, or at least worked on by a U.S dealer.

Re: Sandblast
well i can see i managed to stir things up a little here. We may have only purchased our first Bp a little over 8 mths ago, but my husband and his family have always kept large snakes, mainly burmese.
The person i am getting my bp's from has been associated with us for many years and is a good friend, who up until now has never disappointed, it was this person who has put me in contact with the supposed sandblast owner.
Its a risk that we are willing to take as we have the funds. If it all back fires then you guys can laugh away, i'll join you!!
keep an eye out for pictures, and wish us luck. We appreciate everyones comments and really love this site.

I think it sounds exciting and wish you the best of luck with the transaction. If it does go through, be sure to post the pictures!!

Re: Sandblast
I don't really want to be negative about this, but three weeks ago on craigslist in my area was a post for imports from canary islands, anything you wanted. Cheap too... not a day later one guy posted that he had sent them money for albinos and they somehow cleared his bank account.
Be real careful about cheap morphs, and what information you give people.
If you get one a sandblast, I would LOVE to see pics of it.

Be sure to see pics of it when and IF i get them. Fingers crossed.

Its true there are risks importing from Africa but the risks are reduces slightly for as as they do not have to fly so far - we are in the Canary islands which is just 60 miles of the cost of Africa.
I personally love this trait and now already have a potential buyer for the male.
I will post pics for you all when the big day arrives. We also have a Banana, Clown, Caramel Albino and Pied coming to us in the next two weeks so we are very quickly growing!
thank you everyone.
Did anyone else catch this? First they are direct African imports....and then they are from a captive breeding?!? I am confused!
