Thanks Tim. It was a complete surprise! I was just talking with Gene about both our breeding seasons this year and he comes out with how him and his wife had already decided to give us this Mojave because they felt bad about the breeding loan not producing anything. Heck it's not like that's ever a guarantee with any snakes breeding so it wasn't like we felt bad about it. Anyways, we completely agree with you. Gene's always been a wonderful assest to the snake community and you just couldn't meet a nicer guy! When he had Brannagh and Orlah in his care he treated them just like they were his own breeder females and they came home from the breeding loan in perfect condition.
If any of you attend the Taylor, MI show regularily find Gene and say "hey".
