Ok...sure of mom and dad
Now that I've looked at some trade pictures, I'm sure that I have an Amelanistic female and an Anerythristic male.
These could produce normals or snows?
Not sure of the genetics here, cause I'm a noob, but I would like some feedback.
Eggs are at 16 days or so...

Just thought I should point this out, you can keep things like this all in the same thread instead of creating 2 or 3 new ones. It makes it easier for people to know what the heck your talking about.

Re: Ok...sure of mom and dad
Ok,
Well using the trusty conrnsnake genetic predictor program I get this result;
Male is, Anerythristic
Female is, Amelanistic
Offspring are predicted to be...
100.00%, Het for Snow
So all your babies will look like normal cornsnakes but if two of them were bred together you would get;
Male is, Het for Snow
Female is, Het for Snow
Offspring are predicted to be...
25.00%, Het for Snow
12.50%, Anerythristic, Het for Amel
12.50%, Amelanistic, Het for Anery
12.50%, Het for Anery
12.50%, Het for Amel
6.25%, Snow
6.25%, Anerythristic
6.25%, Amelanistic
6.25%, Normal
Quite a nice mix to keep the excitement going in a clutch.

Just want to point out so the OP is not confused. The F2 would only have normals, amels, anerys, and snows. With the normals, there's no way to tell which are het for anery and snow, etc. They would have a 66% chance of being het for either of the genes. Same with the amels and anerys, they may or may not be het for the other. So while it says you'd have 25% het for snow, and 6.35 het for anery and amel, there's no way to visually identify which snakes are carrying what genes in the F2.
