You would think they'd have more breeders in the Chicago area but it seems not.
I see them on kingsnake sometimes, I don't think I would buy from anyone on there though unless there were some good reviews on them - so maybe you can find someone reliable on there

I wish Kingsnake had a SEARCH engine on it. Ugh.

What are you talking about? It does!

Go to kingsnake.com - then on the top of the page click Classifieds - Then on the left hand side of the page there is a box that says "Search all classifieds" just type in Kenyan Sand Boa and then a bunch of ads come up! You might have to do some searching because Kenyans are in the same category as rosy boas and rubber boas there though

    Try this link: http://market.kingsnake.com/index.php?cat=61

Oh its fine, I'm surprised I even know how to search on there, I've only been on a couple of times and never to buy a snake - just to get an idea of prices. I did see one cute little baby KSB for sale on there.

I was talking to my wife about this KSB, and her response was:

"If you get another snake, I get to have another baby."

Damn, she's pulling out the nuclear weapons on this one

Well, I went back today and I had the snake taken out of the aquarium s/he was in and took a closer look. It's way smaller than 2', more like 10", very thin, has some stuck bad sheds, at least one eye has suck caps, it has popped scales... Very bad shape. They have no humid hide for it at all!

I'm going to have to look elsewhere for one I think.

Good luck finding one, when I looked on kingsnake for blackcrystal22 there were a couple really nice looking KSBs I saw, you could maybe check there if find out if anyone knows of good online breeders. I rarely have good luck when buying animals locally from a store - I actually have only bought one from a store and it was my first snake - my snow corn who was a very healthy, very nice, very overpriced snake

There is a local breeder show here next month. I'll try my luck there first, I think.

    Thanks!

You would think they'd have more breeders in the Chicago area but it seems not.

I've seen them show up occasionally at the all animal expo. You might have more luck contacting Jason's Jungle in Indiana...they do a lot of shows in the eastern midwest.

If you can stand it, wait and save $$$ for tinley and get one then.

I have also seen them for sale at the Chicago Reptile House, but I don't think they breed them.
